We have been users of alternative accommodation for many years and love finding interesting or unusual places to lay our heads!
Our aim is to make your stay at Sunnyside Villa as comfortable and rewarding as we would expect ourselves.
Sunnyside Villa is a unique property offering all the modern ammenities living in the 21st centry demands but with the charm of a heritage building with plenty of space to find that special spot to chill out in.
Our background is in small business. Our first business was in partnership growing and distributing Alfalfa sprouts. In the 80's we may have served you a scrumptious Devonshire Tea at the Avenue Tearooms or later on a healthy sandwich from Honeymead Healthfoods. In 1996 we formed Edumax and spent the following 10 years designing, manufacturing and distributing a range of educational furniture and literacy products for the Australian and export markets. Being far too young to retire we renovated our home to offer B&B and garden wedding facilities. We enjoy providing attention to detail and the challenge of satisfying clients needs.
We are the fourth owners of the property and have spent the last nine years completing the restoration of Sunnyside. The servants bells are still intact but alas the servants are long gone!
At long last we are ready to open our home to guests. We hope that you will visit us soon and leave relaxed and rested after a good night's sleep.
